Very poorly made swimsuit; I purchased a tankini because Modli claimed to have full coverage plus-size swimwear. I ordered the top according to the measurements on the size chart. When I tried it on, it was like the pattern was cut the same for a small bust, only more material between the cups. I'm a size DD at best, so the "bra" area hardly covered my chest - and the small padded cups were almost in my armpits....not at the front where the coverage was needed. Both the top and bottom parts of the tankini were not made with any supportive material, which is very disappointing if you're hoping for a flattering fit.

I expected this to be wearable as is, but that's absolutely not the case as it's VERY thin and revealing. After rereading the description on the website I note that it (and many of the other swim bottoms) are intended to be worn in a double layer with another product. I should have noticed that wording before ordering but wonder why they sell a large number of bottoms which are not 'stand-alone' wearable? I've never heard of this before... two bottoms worn together? :) I won't order the additional bottom because I'm concerned the thin bottom I did buy may slip right off if double-layered.

I like the shape and style of these shorts, but they miss the mark for me in coverage. They are thin and cannot be worn alone. I needed to wear underwear under them to ensure nothing was poking through, if you follow me. The inseam was quite short but the rise on the waist is to my belly button. I would prefer a shorter waist, slightly longer inseam, and fully lined.
***Ok, after reading other reviews and now the product description, I should have read those BEFORE I purchased. These are NOT meant to be worn standalone! Whoops! I guess I'll be ordering some bikini bottoms!

I really liked the length of the shorts, but I found the waistband surprisingly high (it went up to just under my chest) when compared to the product pictures on the website (which show it under the belly button)

I really liked the length of the shorts, but I found the waistband surprisingly high (it went up to just under my chest) when compared to the product pictures on the website (which show it under the belly button). It wouldn't be that much of a problem, but I found the band itself was a little on the snug side (causing some muffin top) while the bottoms themselves were a just little bit loose. Overall, though, I think I'm going to keep them. It's hard to find a longer length 'boy short' and these issues are somewhat minor in the grand scheme of things.

I’m happy with product

I’m happy with product, however I had great problem re delivery to my home address! Receuved a text msg from courier in Sydney advising “unable to locate my address” & giving phone nbr to update! After phone calls to 3 phone nbrs for this company, was advd they unable to locate !
After more phone calls in next few days eventually found someone to help, gave all references, my address etc, & eventually revived package 2 days later.. when parcel arrived, noticed the address label was water damaged & address unreadable !

I now own 3 pairs of shorts, 3 tops and a swim bra

I now own 3 pairs of shorts, 3 tops and a swim bra. I'm so happy I found this brand. I have solar urticaria, a rare sun allergy, so I have to wear long-sleeve rash guards when I swim. It's so nice to be able to wear them over the swim bra instead of layering over a full swimsuit. The patterns are cute and don't make me feel frumpy. The shorts fit great and the waist is kind to my post-baby, post-abdominal-surgeries abdomen. My only request is that I'd like to see a swim bra that fits larger busts better.

The swimsuit is good

The swimsuit is good, but the customer service leaves a great deal to be desired. I purchased the large and medium, because their website says returns are refundable, and I had to email them three times before they sent me the return label for the one that did not work. They actually suggested I just donate the one that did not fit instead of returning it for a refund. After weeks of emailing back and forth, I finally got the return label. It has been ten days since I sent it back and I still have not been refunded. I am now doubting they will refund me. <br />If I get refunded, I will rate this suit slightly higher. Again, the swimsuit itself is good, but the customer service is very bad. I am having to follow up on them frequently in order to get them to follow their posted policies.

Disappointed

Disappointed. I've given 2 stars because in general they do provide the coverage I'm looking for, but for the price I had expected a sturdier, more substantial fabric. The material is thin--not at all see-through, not flimsy, but definitely not sturdy--so that the shorts don't stay in place well but instead crumple and bunch up, also with the potential for "camel toe." I'm keeping them because they're the color and general coverage I wanted, but I won't order again.
