My family and I have now tried three different swim bottoms from this website

My family and I have now tried three different swim bottoms from this website. They are all designed with the same flaw. Very tight around the legs way too big around the waist even after measuring and comparing to the size chart provided. The swim bottoms whether they are leggings or bike shorts size medium, XL or 1X seem to Sag a little low above the backside and are bubbled in the front as if accommodating for a potbelly. Strange and uncomfortable cut. They constantly sag down and leave that big gap between your legs. Wearing them in the water you are forever having to pull them back up so that they don't fall down and reveal anything inappropriate

I was really excited to get these, but now I'm not sure I'll wear them much

I was really excited to get these, but now I'm not sure I'll wear them much. I bought two pair in size small: pink and black. I tried on the black pair first and although they weren't perfect, I decided they would be passable. They are single layer with the seams exposed on the inside so are a bit uncomfortable to wear without bottoms underneath and are so thin show everyline from swim bottoms underneath. Unlike my other swimsuit bottoms the waist band has an additional piece of elastic that cuts in and is unflattering.
A few days later I pulled out the pink pair to discover they are fairly sheer. I had a pair of striped swimsiut bottoms underneath and you could see all the stripes.

The length is great and they dry quickly

The length is great and they dry quickly. These fit nice but I wish they were thicker. They are not double-layered like a typical swimsuit bottom. Because of this, they must be worn with the bikini bottom and show more cellulite than I’d prefer. It claims to have a “wide waistband” and a “slimming effect” but in reality, the fabric is thin and there is a very thin elastic band (shown in the picture) that may cut into the skin a bit, ruining any belly-flattening effect that a wide waistband would help. Overall, I still really like them. Very comfortable. I typically wear an XL and ordered an XL.

Great shorts for price point !

Great shorts for price point ! I ordered the black, and will definitely be ordering again.
They’re very comfortable and have very good coverage . I’m a pear , and I’ve always struggled to find a “boy short” that actually covers down the leg. These do this brilliant, and they’re not too snug, so no bulging etc. I like how you can have them sit higher up the waist too, they look nice high-waisted, . Easy to pair with activewear bars/ crops that look like swim tops. It’s nice to not feel so exposed , being able to wear more of a bike short style at the beach when chasing after the kids.

I have just purchased my second pair of mid thigh shorts except this time I also purchased the matching bikini bottom. I am so glad I did as the shorts can be a bit revealing as they have no gusset (Calypsa do state that their shorts are designed to go over a bikini bottom) and so having bought the bikini bottom in the same colour as my shorts (Coral) they are perfect. Not only that, they match perfectly with my existing rashie. As with my first order, there was no anxiety regarding delivery into Australia. I am very impressed with this supplier.

These are $10 shorts at best

These are $10 shorts at best. Poor design. Ridiculously small gusset. On a positive note, they were true to measurement. I'm glad I went by measurements instead of sizing, as that would have been too small (as most folks know, there is no consistency or standards in sizing clothes).
I had such high hopes for these. I'm glad I waited until I tried the first set before ordering more, as that would have compounded my disappointment.
It's a wonderful idea poorly executed.

These are made of thin material that is already pilling after a couple wears. They're fine to swim in (no wedgies lol). Honestly, I forgot I was wearing shorts. But when you jump in the pool be prepared for an air bubble in your shorts!
Otherwise I like the fit and style. I bought a size large (not the 3X listed beside this review) which fit well. My measurements are 33" waist and 40" hips. There's a little dart of lining at the crotch for anyone worried about that.
