I like this dress overall, but it doesn’t have shorts connected to it so that’s a negative

I like this dress overall, but it doesn’t have shorts connected to it so that’s a negative. Also, the cups are so awkwardly obvious…maybe they’re revamping that in a new design soon.
On the positive side I like that the tank part of the dress is pretty tight so the entire dress doesn’t fly up when you swim. It’s a more practical swim dress than most.
I previously purchased a tank swim too from this company in a medium but since I’m 6ft 2in I bought a large in this dress and it fit really well. The tank portion is equivalent to the Medium in the tank swim too though.
Really good quality but overall an odd design with the cups sewn into the top the way they are.

I am a dress wearer
I am a dress wearer, 100% of the time, so having swim dresses makes the most sense for me. The colour combos and patterns are beautiful. I have never been a bikini wearer & most off-the-rack one-piece suits just didn't do it for me. Calypsa pieces are my style - swim dresses that fit and swim shorts that are genuinely functional. Whether I am toting toddlers at an amusement park with water rides or lounging at the beach with adults, I feel comfortable and don't need to lug around a cover-up.

Not sure why it says I purchased a size 4X
2 years ago
Not sure why it says I purchased a size 4X. I purchased a size Medium, and it fits as expected. I really like it, it’s comfortable, cute, and I will be wearing it for running as well. Definitely requires shorts underneath though, as the skirt is *quite* short.

We were expecting a swimsuit with a skirt, but got a dress made of swimsuit material

We were expecting a swimsuit with a skirt, but got a dress made of swimsuit material. This would be impossible to swim in without it riding up and causing drag. Please update your description so others will know this is more of a beach dress than a swim dress.

The dress was nice but it had no bottom
The dress was nice but it had no bottom. I don't think it was clear on the site that tops & bottoms are all separate. I returned it rather than pay another $38 for a bottom. I am old & seldom wear a swimsuit. The return process was great. Very helpful people.

Very flattering

Very flattering, comfortable, and a great length to the skirt! I am always a little worried about shelf lining not being fitted enough under my bust, but I found it very supportive and the padding placement works great for me. LOVE it!

Good quality and good cut

Good quality and good cut. Unfortunately I am very tall so it ended at my hips. I would love to see items that come in Tall length. I returned it and purchased 3 swim tops with swim credit instead. I love all 3 of them.

When I tried on my leggings and swim skort I was pleasantly surprised at the perfect fit

When I tried on my leggings and swim skort I was pleasantly surprised at the perfect fit. The leggings can be removed a lot easier than most when they are wet which is nice. I would definitely purchase them again.
